Dr. Selzer is an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI™) qualified administrator, and Gallup Certified Clifton Strengths Coach, and an associate professor at the University of Cincinnati in the Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education. She brings 26 years of leadership experience in higher education which has led to broad knowledge of best practices for student engagement and strategic program management across university operations including Admissions, Academic Advising, Student and Academic Affairs, and Alumni Relations.


Dr. Selzer has a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago, a
Master of Arts in School and Community Counseling, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She
has numerous publications, presentations, and grants, served as the State Co-Chair of the
American Council on Education, the Ohio Women's Network Board, and has received many honors and awards recognition for her equity-oriented leadership.


As a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach (Clifton StrengthsFinder® is a registered
trademark of Gallup, Inc.) and a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Dr. Selzer has coached numerous individuals, religious organizations, small tech businesses, educational and healthcare organizations, and early career leaders in a large manufacturing corporation. Her areas of expertise are social justice education, diversity, equity and inclusion, intercultural global learning, and women's leadership.


On a more personal note, Dr. Selzer is also a trained Pilates Instructor and a mother to 2 teenage
